<p><em>Plants are a source of chemical compounds, both compounds resulting from primary metabolism or called metabolites such as carbohydrates, proteins and fats which used by the plant itself for its growth, well secondary alkaloids, flavanoids, steroids/terpenoids, saponins tannins. The design this study was experimental laboratory, in morphological, anatomical, organoleptic examinations were carried out, identification presence Henna (Lawsonia inermis Linn) Maluku. Morphological collation showed that henna has single leaves facing each other. stem is woody thorny stems, taproot system. On anatomical examination, there stomata cross-sections longitudinal also have vascular bundles (both xylem phloem) plants. In test, bitter taste distinctive odor at leave, while stems roots tasteless odorless. Test results Identification content extract (Lawsornia contains phenols, flavonoids, tannins (catechols pyrogalotanins), saponins, steroids, glycosides. Be observed plant, it can be concluded medicinal properties, one heal cuts community use traditional medicine.
